"O envio falhou - houve um problema ao mover o avatar para a pasta de uploads. Por favor, informe o problema a um administrador."

Este erro tava dando pra mim também.
Aconselho você a Hospedar o Avatar no site tinypic.com , Pegegar o Link e botar na parte onde "tem Informe a URL para um avatar online" e Salvar.

Verifique se o tamanho do avatar que você enviou não está fora dos padrões do fórum que é 150x250, se a imagem não ultrapassou o limite de 100KB, ou se não está no formato de imagem que o fórum permite utilizar: gif,jpg,jpeg,png, se tudo estiver certo tente hospedar seu avatar em um site como o tinypic: http://tinypic.com/index.php e experimente mudar, depois aperte F5.
