Então cara, não tem muito segredo não .. basta você ir em Arquivo > Salvar como .. > e escolhe o formato .JPEG ou .PNG .. ou pelo atalho dos comandos .. CTRL + SHIFT + S é bem mais fácil:

também tem esse vídeo que ensina á salvar uma imagem em .png, no seu caso á sua signature.
