[Events] Season of Private, Liberated, and Relic Mata-Mata - September MuAwaY 2025

Prepare yourself for the all-or-nothing! The Season of Private and Liberated Mata-Matas on MuAwaY is live, and this is your chance to shine. Step into battle and show your strength and resilience in epic duels, where only the strongest survive.

In this edition, a new format arises, called Mata-Matas Glory Items, where only players equipped with the 11 Glory Items will be able to participate. Some other rules apply to this format, so make sure to read this announcement carefully and pay attention to all the details.

This season, we will have a total of 03 Relic Mata-Matas, one of them reserved especially for this new format, which will further increase the competitiveness among all participants. Oh, and here’s a spoiler: the rewards are also extraordinary.

Learn how events work by seeing the instructions below:

• Liberated Mata-Matas:
All players can participate without exceptions and without the need for an invitation, and in addition to the rewards, the TOP 1 secures a spot to participate in the Relic Mata-Mata.

• Private Mata-Matas:
To participate, it is necessary to use the Private Mata-Mata Invitation. It is possible to return to the event, as long as you are still in the same stage in which you were defeated. This event offers rewards for the winners, and the TOP 1 also secures a spot to participate in the Relic Mata-Mata.

• Glory Items Mata-Matas:
Participants must be equipped with the 11 Glory items along with the other permitted items, which will be listed further below. This format will also feature both Private and Liberated Mata-Matas, offering rewards for the winners and a spot for the TOP 1 to participate in the special Relic Mata-Mata of this format.

• Relic Mata-Matas:
To participate in this event, it is necessary to have secured a spot from the Liberated or Private events. This is the biggest event of the Mata-Matas Season, and therefore, its rewards are highly valuable.

Event intended for players who have secured their spot in the Liberated or Private Mata-Matas, according to the schedule and order of slots.

Please read the rules and additional information on how the event will be held carefully to avoid any setbacks.

Basic rules:

• No using/attacking with skills or hitting before the STAFFER authorizes the countdown in global chat.
• No using ME or SM buffs.
• No moving during the fight. If this occurs, one infraction will be marked, and on the second, the player will be moved.
• No donating your spot to another nickname.
• BK buff use is allowed at any time.
• In case of a disconnect (DC), one point will be immediately awarded to the opposing player. If the match still has a score to continue, the disconnected player will have 60 seconds to return. If they don't return, victory will be given to the opponent.
• A single player may only use one account to participate in the event.
• In case of a phase change, if a player is offline, they will be automatically disqualified without the right to a refund for spots or invitations.
• These rules may be changed at any time, so it is recommended to always pay attention in-game. The STAFFER, with administration authorization, may create or alter rules, which will be announced in this topic or via a message in the global in-game chat.

Operation of both events:

• All rounds will be best of three, meaning you need to secure two wins to advance.
• If any rules are violated, the offending player will receive one infraction. If they accumulate two infractions, a point will be awarded to their opponent. Infractions will be reset at the start of each new round.

The Mata-Matas Glory Items will take place throughout the second half of the season onward, in both Liberated and Private formats, as usual. The novelty of this mode is the mandatory use of certain items and the restriction of others, which will be listed further below.

This Mata-Matas format will also feature an exciting final, affectionately named Relic Mata-Mata (Glory Items), which will deliver spectacular rewards to those who reach the top. Up next, we will provide information about which items will be allowed for entry into the event once it begins.

In the following spoiler, we will list all items allowed in the character/inventory for entry into the event.

To participate in this event, it is necessary to use the Mata-Mata Invitation. Players may return to the event multiple times, as long as they are in the same stage in which they were defeated and it is not a final stage.

This season we will have a total of 45 private mata-matas.

To participate in the private mata-matas, you must have at least 1 invitation in your inventory.
Below, we will provide some information about the invitations for the private mata-matas:

• This invitation can only be obtained by combining items in the Chaos Machine Renew and through in-game trading.
• This invitation can be traded.
• This invitation cannot be dropped on the ground.
• This invitation is non-refundable.
• It's possible to create invitation packs.
• If you withdraw from the event mid-way, or if any technical issue occurs that is not server-side, you will not be entitled to a refund for the invitation, except in cases of bugs that are our responsibility.
• Unused invitations from this season's private deathmatches will be deleted during the next maintenance, without a refund.

Basic rules:

• Only the 1st place winner of each event will have a guaranteed spot for the relic event;
• When a player conquers a spot, a record will be made of the account to which the character is linked. From then on, that account will not be able to use another character to participate in the other events, and if the character is moved to another account, the spot will automatically be lost;
• The player who conquers a spot can continue participating normally, however, if they conquer a spot again, the spot will be passed on to the 2nd placed player, and if that player also has a spot, it will be passed on to the 3rd placed player. If all three placed players already have a spot, the event in question will not guarantee the participation of new players without a spot.
• Forbidden to use/attack with skill or auto-attack before the STAFFER authorizes the global countdown.
• Forbidden to use ME or SM Buff.
• Forbidden to walk during the fight; if it occurs, 01 infraction will be marked, and on the 2nd, the offender will be moved.
• The use of BK Buff will be allowed at any time.
• It is only permitted to return to the event in normal phases; semi-finals and finals are not possible.
• The player cannot skip a phase; that is, if they lose in the first phase, they can return as many times as they want to the phase they lost in, but if they don't win, they will not be able to return in the next phase.
• In case of a DC (disconnect) in normal phases, an infraction will be given to the player, and if they have only one infraction, they will have 60 seconds to return. If they do not return, victory will be given to the opponent.
• In case of a DC from the semi-finals onwards, a point will be given instantly to the opposing player, and if the fight still has a score to continue, the player who DC'd will have 60 seconds to return. If they do not return, victory will be given to the opponent.
• In case of a phase change while the player is offline, they will be automatically disqualified by the system without the right to a refund of spots or invitations.
• These rules may be altered at any time; therefore, it is recommended that you always pay attention in the game. The STAFFER, with authorization from the administration, may create or alter rules which will be notified in this topic, or through a message in the global chat of the game.

How the event works:

Example: Player Y will fight the 1st Phase of the Private Mata-Mata against Player Z. Player Y loses the fight. If Player Y has more invitations, they can re-enter the event by typing the command /novaarena.

Note: The player will not be able to re-enter in the following situation:
• If it is the semi-final or final, re-entry into the event will not be allowed.

• The charge for invitations will occur in a growing and exponential manner. For example, on the player's first entry, 1 invitation will be charged. If they lose and return, 2 invitations will be charged. If they lose again and return, 4 invitations will be charged, and so on. Once the semi-final is announced, re-entry is no longer allowed, and the event will continue until the winners are determined.
• Tall rounds will be single-elimination, with semi-finals and finals being best of three.
• If any rules are violated, the offending player will receive an infraction. If they accumulate two infractions, the opponent will gain a point. Infractions will reset at the beginning of each round.

To participate in this event, no invitation is required, allowing everyone to participate without restrictions.
